Dr. Harry W. Greene is a professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at Cornell University, where he is the leading expert in snakes and reptiles. He came to Ohio University to speak in the Kennedy Lecture Series under the topic, "Natural history and aesthetics: why should we care about nature?"

Carl Kasell, the famed voice of NPR News for three decades turned comedy star of Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, has announced he's stepping down this spring after a five-decade career in broadcasting. Kasell will record his final broadcast for Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! this spring; celebration shows are planned in the show's home city of Chicago, and in Washington, D.C.

Host Joan Butcher sits down with curator of the Athens County Historical Socety Jessica Cyders, along with board member and volunteer Lynne Newell and volunteer Holly Dallman and discuss the upcoming activities leading up to the 3rd Annual Civil War Ball. Civil War buffs and music history afficianados will get the chance to experience the 73rd OVI (Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment) band performing period music with period instruments, Cyder will present a collection of Civil War artifacts, all leading up to the big event on March 29.
