The 22nd annual LilyFest is scheduled to kick off Friday, July 12 at Bishop Educational Gardens in Rockbridge, Ohio.

In addition to gardens full of daylilies, hostas, perennials and annuals, more than 60 artists and craftspeople will be selling their works, with many demonstrating their techniques.

Visitors will see garden art, such as steel, stone, clay, iron, copper and wood sculptures, bird baths, fountains, stepping stones and wood furniture.

Other items for sale include pottery, watercolors, jewelry, soaps, birdhouses, photographs, stained glass, baskets, woodcarving and more.

The weekend will feature guest speakers and workshops, as well as a native butterfly house, food vendors, the Lost Viking Hoard and a variety of music (see schedule below).

Admission is free, with children and strollers welcomed (no pets, please). Parking will be available in two fields, with donations accepted for educational funds.

The event, which is sponsored by the Logan-Holl Foundation and the Hocking Hills Tourism Association, will be held rain or shine. No indoor shelter will be provided.
