ROANOKE, Va. (WOUB) — Kroger stores in most of West Virginia and parts of eastern Ohio will have designated shopping hours for seniors and other customers at high risk of contracting the novel coronavirus.

Kroger’s Mid-Atlantic Region said these hours will be from 7:00-8:00 a.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, beginning March 24. This is for customers 60 and over, and customers at high risk for coronavirus, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This includes people with HIV, pregnant women, and people with underlying medical conditions.

The Kroger Mid-Atlantic Region includes all West Virginia Kroger stores, except in Wheeling. It also includes Ashland, Kentucky and the Ohio stores in Marietta, Belpre, and Proctorville.

All other Ohio stores have also begun offering special shopping hours: click here for more information.
