A Parkersburg Potato Chip maker will begin producing the snack food again soon.

Mister Bee Potato Chip Company President Douglas Klein announced the news on the company's facebook page this morning.

He says the company reorganized the business and is preparing to enter the marketplace. "We restructured our financial situation with a private investor," He says. "We've added a few new faces to the company and changed different mannerisms in the way we were previously doing business. Hopefully we will be able to make it a success."

The company announced in December it had been approved for Post Petition Financing, meaning it could accept financing to begin purchasing the raw materials needed to begin producing supplies.

Mister Bee filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in November.

Klein says he appreciates the support the company has been given in the past few months. "It's amazing with the amount of comments and positive feedback we've gotten," He says. "We just hope to be able to serve our consumers again and hopefully they'll be as satisfied as they've always been."

Klein says the company is waiting on some final paperwork before they are able to enter the marketplace again.

Mister Bee was founded in 1951.

It is the only manufacturer of potato chips in West Virginia.
