SHADYSIDE, Ohio (WOUB)— The Shadyside Tigers ran over the Waterford Wildcats for them to find themselves going to the Regional Semi-finals.

Shadyside’s running back Wyatt Reiman was steam rolling past the Waterford’s defense to allow the Tigers to control the game and win, 27-13.

Reiman found the end zone three times on Saturday and dominated the line to consistently keep the Tigers offense moving.

Waterford did take the early lead at the beginning of the game with an option pitch to Holden Daley, 61-yards and multiple broken tackles later he was in the endzone to take a 6-0 lead.

The Wildcats’ offense would be halted after this though.

Miscommunications would cause Waterford to not have an opportunity to score before the end of the first half which kept them down by six.

The Tigers took a 20-6 lead into the fourth quarter.

A Wildcats touchdown to cut the lead to seven is what made this game interesting.

Momentum went Waterford’s way with an interception giving the ball back to the Wildcats and an opportunity tie.

On the very next play an interception gave the ball right back to the Tigers.

Another touchdown in Shadyside’s column put this game out of reach and allowed the Tigers to come out on top, 27-13.
