A delay in capital appropriations from the state is making it difficult for Ohio University to finalize capital improvements for the upcoming year.

Ohio University’s Chief Financial Officer Stephen Golding will tell the Board of Trustees at this week’s meetings that hundreds of thousands of dollars of projects may be hard to budget because of the delay at the state level to provide anticipated matching and associated funding.

Projects ready to begin include $700,000 to renovate Hudson Health Center, and more than $800,000 for a chiller replacement at the Computer Service Center.
