Scioto County deputies now know the identity of a body found earlier this week along the shore line of the Ohio River.

Sheriff Marty Donini says the Montgomery County Coroner's Office used dental records to identify Jason Clagg, 25, of Huntington.

Donini says Clagg was last seen Nov. 18 in Lawrence County. He had jumped into the river to avoid approaching law enforcement officers.

Clagg's family was notified this morning.

A woman taking pictures along the river Monday called to report seeing Clagg's body washed up on shore in Nile Township.

Anyone with information about Clagg is asked to call Scioto County detectives at 740-351-1093.
