Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks says a deputy sheriff has been arrested. The deputy and two other subjects allegedly were involved in a 2007 breaking and entering. Their names have not been released. The sheriff is having a news conference today and we expect to find out more then.
The Athens County Convention and Visitors Bureau has just released data showing tourism generated more than $130 million in local sales in 2011.
