Gallipolis man dies in ATV Accident

The Gallipolis Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing their investigation into a fatal ATV crash Saturday night.
The crash happened on Friendly Ridge Road near Crown City in Gallia County.
Police say Steve A. Day, 49, of Gallipolis was driving a 1997 Honda TRV 3000FVW southbound on Friendly Ridge Road when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
According to the accident report, Day was ejected from the ATV. Officers say he was not wearing a helmet.
Day was taken to by Gallia County EMS to Holzer Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
