Drug Bust Results In Two Arrests

Traffic stops result in arrests made for the possesion of drugs near Lucasville.

According to the Pike County News Watchman The Portsmouth Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol stopped a car on Route 23 and discovered drugs in the car. Two women are now facing felony criminal charges.

A search revealed one gram of crack cocaine in the vehicle and 54 grams of crack cocaine on one of the occupants. The street value of the amount of the drug is $5,500.

Helen Johnson, 33, and Katelyn Rayburn, 21, were both charged with possession of crack cocaine and incarcerated in the Scioto County Jail.

The Patrol reported on Wednesday that two more subjects were arrested at Lucasville for felony drug possession.  Bruce Daugherty, Jr., 30, and Olivia Peacock, 21, both of Trotwood, were charged with possession of cocaine and possession of heroin and incarcerated in the Scioto County Jail.Patrol makes cocaine, heroin arrests near Lucasville.
