500 Customers left without power near The Plains

Power has finally been restored to over 500 people who were left in the dark for hours.
According to American Electiric Power, this took place near The Plains last night.

The first outage occured at 9:22 p.m. and lasted over two hours affecting 25 customers on Vore Ridge Rd.

Another outage occured at 11:56 p.m. at Lamaster Rd, outside of The Plains. The outage lasted about 50 minutes and affected 348 people.

Both outages were the result of fallen trees.

AEP also told WOUB that a third outage occured at 11:30 p.m. due to equipment related problems. The outage affected about 1,000 customers but the specific location could not be verified.
