Buchtel Man Dies in Fatal Fire

BUCHTEL, Ohio (AP) – Authorities say a man has been killed in a house fire in Buchtel.
The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the Thursday morning blaze that destroyed the house.
Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to the call just before dawn.
The victim’s body was taken to the coroner’s office in Columbus. His name hasn’t been released.
Logan Fire Chief Brian Robertson tells the newspaper that the victim’s wife was able to get out of the house safely.
The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
