MORAINE, Ohio (AP) — A joint venture between General Motors and Isuzu says it expects to add 150 jobs over the next three years in the Dayton area.

DMAX plans to invest $82 million at its Moraine plant that makes diesel engines for heavy-duty trucks, including the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.

GM says its plans hinge on approval of state and local incentive.

The automaker says DMAX has produced nearly 1.7 million engines since opening in 2000.

GM says the plant underwent a $60 million investment last year for design changes that will allow the engines to meet future emissions standards.
