For 10 years the Ohio Center for Ecology and Evolutionary Studies (OCEES) has championed innovative collaboration among faculty and with the Voinovich School for Leadership Public Affairs and has offered undergraduate and graduate students the chance to dive into robust, hands-on research alongside center faculty. OCEES Assistant Director and Professor Willam Roosenberg talks with “Conversations from Studio B” host Kelee Riesbeck about the center’s projects and its impact on the general public. Roosenberg also talks about OCEES’s upcoming Darwin Lecture guest and Roosenberg’s former professor, renown anatomist Neil Shubin.

Shubin’s lecture is based on his award-winning three-part PBS documentary series, Your Inner Fish, which reveals how our bodies are the legacy of ancient fish, reptiles and primates. The 2016 Darwin Lecture is co-hosted by OHIO’s Kennedy Lecture Series and takes place at Templeton Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium on February 22, 2016 at 7:30pm. The event is free and open to the public.
