“Out of the Afternoon” will feature a focus and interview with Wayne Shorter, influential saxophonist, prolific composer, a member of two of the most formidable Jazz ensembles, Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, and the Miles Davis Quintet, as well as the co-leader of the important fusion era band, Weather Report.

Join us for an informative excursion into the unique talent and singular perceptions of an artist whose contributions have provided interesting contours to creative improvised music for the past sixty years.
