Ohio Women’s Basketball wraps up FIU Holiday Hoops Showdown with a win over Binghamton

MIAMI, Fla. (WOUB) — Ohio Women’s Basketball (6-3) held off a late rally from Binghamton (4-6) for a 76-67 win in their second game of the FIU Holiday Hoops Showdown.
Senior guard Cece Hooks led the Bobcats in scoring with 20 points on 9-18 shooting, followed closely by redshirt junior guard Erica Johnson who added 19 points.
Junior forward Birna Benonysdottir led the Bearcats offensively with 18 points.
The Bobcats kick off MAC play when they return to action next week. They’ll face Miami (Ohio) on Dec. 29 with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. in Oxford.
