The Nelsonville-York Drama Club, in conjunction with the Stuart’s Opera House Audio Recording Program, is proud to present the radio adaption of “A Christmas Carol” for the community to enjoy this holiday season.

While this radio play is typically performed on the stage, Stuart’s Opera House turned their third floor Education Center into a large recording studio where students got the opportunity to learn about a whole different side of theatrical performance. The Drama Club students used only their voices and creativity to communicate this rich and vivid adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Yuletide classic. Join the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future as they lead Ebenezer Scrooge on a journey of transformation and redemption.

WOUB will broadcast the production on Saturday, December 25 on WOUB-AM (1340AM) and on woub.org/listen (make sure to click on AM!) at 9 a.m. ET, 1 p.m. ET, and 6 p.m. ET.
