The magazine-style program showcases the sights, sounds and stories of our region
WOUB Public Media will air the first episode of its series, Foothill Features, on Thursday, November 28 at 9 p.m.
The magazine-style variety program contains an eclectic mix of feature narratives that showcase the sights, sounds and stories of our region. This Foothill Features episode will contain stories on:
- The Ohio Art Corridor
- The Zanesville Y Bridge
- The mystery of Moonville
- The rechanneling of the Hocking River in Athens
- Friday Night Football Legacies
“This program has something for everyone,” said WOUB Producer/Director Chris Flanery. “And I hope people will be inspired by what they learn about our region.”
“A key component of Foothill Features is that it will not be formulaic. The magazine-style format allows for an exploration of different storytelling styles that best suit the individual story being told. Overall, Foothill Features seeks to be an approachable, unpretentious examination of the uniqueness of this region,” said Flanery. “The primary goal of Foothill Features is to highlight the stories of the region and encourage people to take greater ownership and curiosity of their community.
