NELSONVILLE, Ohio (WOUB) – The music created by SUSS embodies a genre that they call “ambient country.” It’s a type of music that does not require lyrics to tell the story. If you were to close your eyes, you could picture the unique blend of instruments and synthesizers, painting a vibrant scene.

Throughout their Sycamore Session set SUSS crafted a sound that enveloped the audience in an eerie yet intriguing soundscape, setting the perfect tone for the last day of the 2024 Nelsonville Music Festival.

For their Sycamore Session, SUSS’s band lineup included Patt Irwin on guitar and keyboard, Bob Holmes on the mandolin and guitar, Kevin Fullen on bass, and Jonathon Gregg on the steel petal guitar.
