In week four, the six remaining home cooks face two challenges that push them beyond their comfort zones! First, they must prepare one of the judges’ recipes. Then, with the return of the recipe swap, they put their own spin on each other’s dishes.

Jollof rice is a popular West African red pepper rice that has similarities to dirty rice in the southern United States. This recipe is adapted from Nigerian chef Kunbi Olalere, owner of Ahinke’s Restaurant in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
