SUMMARY:Art Outside the Box! Call for Artists!
DESCRIPTION:AMAC is seeking up to 10 art designs to be applied onto vinyl wraps to cover traffic control boxes in Athens\, Ohio. AMAC encourages submissions of Athens specific artworks that will make Athens Art Outside the Box purely “Athens.” \nA $500 honorarium will be awarded for use of each design! \nArtists will be selected by jury process. Selected artists will not choose locations. Each selected artist will not be eligible for more than one location until removal occurs. \nWraps will be removed after 3-5 years\, depending on condition. They may be removed at any time at the discretion of the City of Athens. \nSelected artist designs (which can be computer designed images or scanned from illustrations\, paintings\, quilts\, mosaic\, photographed sculptures\, photographs\, or other) will be printed on to a vinyl wrap\, and applied to the traffic boxes by the City of Athens. \nENTRY DEADLINE: Friday\, July 14\, 2017 @ 5:00 PM\nMore Information and entry forms at:\nhttp://www.ci.athens.oh.us/394/Current-Calls-for-Entry
