DESCRIPTION:CFI shares local food with those facing food insecurity. During the growing season\, we buy from local farmers and distribute to families in need. During winter\, our supply of fresh produce doesn’t meet the demand. You can help! Simply buy extra when you shop local\, and drop your donation in our Buy One\, Share One bin. Our bins are located at Kindred Market\, The Farmacy\, and the Athens Farmers Market. We appreciate wholesome foods that do not require refrigeration.

DESCRIPTION:The Athens Lift Project will boost your mood and uplift your thoughts and behaviors in our newest 10-week course! Everyone must be age 55+ and must have an email address and a computer on which to watch videos and participate in Zoom calls\, which will be once a week for 10 weeks. The Lift Project is a global network of people of all ages who participate in this mood-lifting program. We at Live Healthy want to focus on uplifting seniors right now because we feel they’ve been the most affected by COVID-19 and social distancing. Some of the lessons talk about the importance of eating healthy\, exercising\, forgiving yourself and others\, learning love languages\, expressing gratitude to those most important in your life\, etc. However\, what we really like about this program is that it actually gives you weekly behavior changes–actual things to do to make these lessons real in your daily life. That’s what we’re most excited about. \nSo join us! The cost is $10 per person and can be paid on our website or by check\, mailed to our office.
