Equipment owned members of the Ohio Valley Chapter of the Historical Construction Equipment Association\, Historical Construction Equipment Association\, Yellow Power Caterpillar + Community and other organizations will be displayed or in operation. \nAll antique trucks\, construction\, crawler\, and mining (surface or underground) equipment are welcome. Bring you antique trucks\, crawler\, construction\, mining equipment for some digging fun or static display. Exhibitor camping available on site. DESCRIPTION:On November 13th\, 5pm-7pm\, West End Ciderhouse will be hosting a happy hour benefitting the community pavilion project. Ciderhouse will generously donate $1 per draft to the pavilion project\, which will provide a permanent home for the Athens Farmers Market.  The pavilion will have space for about 40 stalls\, will provide heating\, lighting\, and electricity\, and will connect the indoor/outdoor winter market.  The long-awaited project is possible now thanks to support from many partners\, including the City of Athens.  We are raising funds to start construction in 2026. Come out\, celebrate community and the harvest season\, and help us build in 2026!  The Athens Farmers Market will be there with information about the project and ways to get involved.  See you at West End Ciderhouse!

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thanksgiving morning for the 17th Annual Athens Turkey Trot!\nTurkey-calling runners and walkers of all abilities! Come join other members of the Athens community for the annual pre-food coma tradition! Enjoy a flat\, out-and-back course on the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway along the scenic tree-lined Hocking River. This year’s race will feature official chip timing and the option to purchase a commemorative t-shirt as part of your race registration. \nLAST DAY TO REGISTER AND GUARANTEE A SHIRT IS NOV. 20!\nPlans still not finalized? Don’t worry\, we offer race-day registration up until 30 minutes before the race! \nRace start time: 8:30 a.m. \nLocation: West State Street Park shelter house\, Athens\, Ohio \nPrizes: Pumpkin pies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each gender category as well as the top three finishers in the ages 12 and under category. \nParking: Parking will be in the main parking lots for the West State Ball Fields. With the exception of those that have a handicap tag or need other special parking\, no vehicles will be allowed to enter the circle at the end of West State Street. You may also park at Ohio Means Jobs on Union Street and walk the bike path the short distance to the start at the ball fields. \nThis year’s race is being organized by the Athens Athletics Club (AAC)\, a 501(c)3 Athens-based nonprofit organization that supports the development of Athens Bulldogs cross country and track & field athletes. AAC is an affiliate member of the Road Runners Club of America. All funds collected from the Athens Turkey Trot goes to the AAC and will be utilized to support the Athens Bulldog XC and Track teams.
