DESCRIPTION:The Cloth to Clothing Workshop Series offers adults the opportunity to build new skills\, enhance knowledge\, stay current with industry trends\, and pursue professional development through a high-quality workshop series. Sessions are designed to connect textile processes with garment making in this cloth-to-clothing focused series. Participants receive lecture and demonstration-style learning in a professional studio setting with seasoned professionals. All materials and supplies are included in the tuition. \nEach day will host a morning session with a “cloth” topic and an afternoon session with a “clothing” topic. Each session lasts for three hours and is led by a professional in the subject area.  You can purchase your workshops individually or choose the full series package\, offering a discounted rate. The sessions are built to coordinate with each other for an immersive full-circle experience. Taking the entire week is highly recommended for the richest experience.

DESCRIPTION:This compact\, richly illustrated\, in-depth travel guide takes visitors to the many Indigenous earthwork wonders of southern Ohio\, including the brilliant landscape monuments recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is the first publication to present these amazing places from a traveler’s perspective—as rewarding architectural experiences\, with deeply informative site descriptions\, plus curated routes to historical\, scenic\, and natural treasures across the region. Archaeological\, historical\, and Indigenous knowledge enriches the text\, assembled by the author over many years of collaborative work. SUMMARY:One Vote! The Musical
DESCRIPTION:“One Vote! – The Musical” is an original work by Larry Groce and Todd Burge that tells the story of the New England settlers who founded Marietta\, Ohio\, where the Muskingum meets the Ohio River\, and how the decisions and developments of 1786-1820\, helped shape our nation. The One Vote! cast by Ephraim Cutler secured Ohio’s entry into the Union as a free state. The play features Cutler\, “Father of the Territory”\, Rufus Putnam\, and other historical figures\, alongside fictional characters\, including the lead female role\, settler Abigail Worthy. Dialogue in One Vote! explores the roles of frontier women as well as the struggles and resilience of Native peoples and African Americans of the era. With a dynamic music mix of pop\, rock\, Americana\, and folk\, One Vote! blends humor\, heart\, and history to celebrate the birth of democracy in the Northwest Territory. The Northwest Territory Museum Society serves as Executive Producer of the project. The production brings a powerful piece of Marietta and Northwest Territory history to the stage in America’s 250th year.
