DESCRIPTION:It’s playtime at The Nest!\n\nBreak the routine\, get out of the house and come let your little ones play in a fresh space while you get to talk with other grown-ups for awhile!\n\nCome and go as you please anytime during our open play hours.  Toys and activities are geared towards babies and toddlers but older siblings are welcome to come along.\n\nWhile you’re here\, peruse the lending library of books\, DVDs and even baby carriers free to borrow!\n\nTuesdays masks are optional\, while Thursdays are mask-only for those who prefer a “mask-on” environment.\n\nDisinfectant wipes are always available and we have a tub for toys that have been “mouthed” so they can be washed before future use.\n\nA changing table and toddler potty are available as well as a bottle warmer and fridge for storing formula/milk.

DESCRIPTION:Join Rose Keyes of True Heart Yoga Studio for an in-depth workshop focused on unlocking restrictions and restoring mobility in the feet\, hips\, and shoulders. Throughout the workshop we will utilize a variety of poses that incorporate gravity\, one’s own body weight\, and props – like bolsters and straps – to target restrictions deep within the joints. This style of yoga takes a therapeutic approach to movement\, and is especially beneficial for people experiencing chronic pain\, depression/anxiety\, hormonal issues\, or who are in recovery from injuries.

Office hours will be held every other week on Tuesday nights from 6:30 – 8 p.m. \nAre you looking to start a farm? Do you have plans to begin selling a food product? Are you a couple years into operating your farm or food business and could benefit from refining your business plan? Join a small cohort of beginning farmers to learn from topic experts and get paired with a farm mentor. \nThe Whole Farm Planning & Mentoring program is a 10-week series that leads 14 beginning farmers through the process of planning their business. Through webinar recordings\, office hours\, and one-on-one meetings with mentors\, participants will learn the key components of starting a business with the goal of creating a new or refined business plan. \nPre-recorded webinars and resources will be sent out every two weeks\, for participants to watch on their own time. Live office hours will be held every other Tuesday night with all mentees and mentors joining together to discuss the topics of the week. Mentees will be expected to meet with their mentor one-on-one for one hour every two weeks. See the full schedule for more details. \nWe are seeking beginning farmers who are committed to developing a farm or food business in any sector. This series is best suited for someone who has already begun producing or selling a product. \nDue to grant terminations\, Rural Action does not have full grant funding for this project like we have in the past. Registration for this series covers the cost of running the program. We will need to reach 14 participants in order to fund the series. If we do not fill all spots\, the series will be canceled. \nFarm partners/couples need only ONE registration.
