SUMMARY:Speaker Series - The Perils of Plastic: The Impacts of Microplastics
DESCRIPTION:Join us in welcoming this month’s speaker\, Lee Gregg of Athens ReThink Plastics. We now know that plastic pollution is a big and growing problem\, and that small bits of plastic called microplastics are in our air\, water\, soil\, and in us! What are the health implications of researchers finding microplastics in every part of the human body? How can we reduce our exposure to microplastics?\nOur Speaker Series offers us a chance to learn from local experts and community members. It is aimed towards adults and seniors. $5 admission – or sign up for our yearly Adult Programs Membership plan
