DESCRIPTION:Gelli Prints are one-of-a-kind monotypes made by applying paint to a reusable\, gel-like printing plate and transferring the design onto paper. In this session\, led by artist and educator Mateo Galvano with studio assistants from the School of Art + Design\, we will use botanical samples such as plant cuttings\, leaves\, and flowers\, along with found items and cut-out shapes\, which are gently pressed into the surface and lifted away to create colorful\, poetic images. \nSeating is limited: please register using this form. DESCRIPTION:Registration is now open for the 18th annual Athens Turkey Trot at \nhttps://athens-athletics.org/. \nThe race begins at 8:30 a.m. Thursday\, November 26\, at the Fenway Shelter House at West State Street Park. This year’s race\, which is a convenient out-and-back course along the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway\, features the availability of official chip timing\, results by SEOTR Events\, pumpkin pies for age division winners and post-run hot chocolate and refreshments. \n  \nRegistration is $25 per person. Children ages12 and under may participate for free. \n  \nThis year’s race is being organized by the Athens Athletics Club (AAC)\, a 501(c)3 Athens-based nonprofit organization that supports the development of Athens Bulldogs cross country and track & field athletes. AAC is an affiliate member of the Road Runners Club of America.
