DESCRIPTION:The Federal Vallely Resource Center in Stewart\, Ohio and the Ames-Bern Ridge Rounders invite you to the 2nd Saturday Music Series at 6:30 pm on March 8th\, 2025 in the restored 1920s auditorium.  \nExpect an evening of music and dancing\, beginning with a free introduction to partner swing dance lesson starting at 6:30 pm. Music will begin at 7:00. Dancers will enjoy the beautiful wood floor of the renovated auditorium. This event is family-friendly\, free\, and open to the public. This will be an opportunity for swing dancing\, but other types of dancing are also encouraged! All music lovers are welcome to come and listen. \nThe Ridge Rounders play retro country\, western swing\, blues\, and jazz with danceable beats. All the musicians hail from the townships of Ames and Bern in and around Amesville\, Ohio. DESCRIPTION:Each Thursday Athens KTC is hosting quiet meditation during the lunch hour.  This is non-religious meditation that starts with 20 minutes of sitting meditation (chairs and floor cushions are provided) then optional walking meditation\, quietly around the room\, followed by another 20 minutes of sitting meditation.   If you need to enter after we have started\, or need to leave before the end\, that is okay\, just try to be quiet.  Donations are welcome\, in order to pay rent for the use of the room.
