DESCRIPTION:In partnership with the City of Vienna\, the YMCA of Parkersburg will be hosting a Mud Run on Saturday\, May 22. The 1.25 mile-long course will stretch from the wooded area behind the Vienna Rec Center and Jackson Middle School. The Adult Division will run the course twice for a total of 2.5 miles. The Youth Division will run the course once for a total of 1.25 miles. All participants are required to sign a waiver. First aid will be available via ATV to reach all areas of the course. DESCRIPTION:Join the Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery for Summer Discovery Camp 2021. Camp is in session at the Shade Community Center starting Monday\, July 5 through Friday\, July 9.\n\n\n\nThis half-day outdoor camp for rising 1st-6th graders will feature fun science experiments\, explorations of our local environment\, visits from master gardeners and local STEAM (science\, technology\, engineering\, arts\, & mathematics) experts\, and more!\n\n\n\nWhile this is an outdoor camp\, we have access to the community center’s restroom facilities. All activities for camp will be outside\, rain or shine. Camp directors will contact caregivers in the event of inclement weather.\n\n\n\nArrival and sign-in daily from 8:30-9:00am. Pick up at 12:00pm.\n\n\n\nCost: $150 (Scholarships are available.
