DESCRIPTION:At the Y\, you can roll\, flip and jump your way to fun without worrying about competitions! Our Tumbling for Kids program is perfect for beginners who would like help in forming solid gymnastics fundamentals such as cart-wheels\, backbends\, handstands\, and more. \nThe 7-week program also teaches life skills such as goal setting\, safety\, self-discipline\, self-confidence\, manners\, time management\, counting\, and reading. Children will be encouraged to participate in Show-N-Tell opportunities and complete a “Get to Know You” sheet for the coach. \nTo ensure safety\, 6 ft. social distancing is maintained when stretching on yoga mats and completing exercises. Girls are asked to wear leotards while boys are asked to wear close-fitting shorts and a shirt/tank top that’s tucked in to safely help while spotting. \nWHEN: Wednesdays beginning September 8th • 7:15 – 8:15 PM \nAGES: Children ages 6-12 \nCOST: $24 for Members | $30 Non-members \nRegistration for the program is available in-person or online.
