DESCRIPTION:The Ironton Council for the Arts concludes the 2023 portion of its 2023-24 subscription concert series with the annual Christmas concert featuring the Portsmouth Wind Symphony whose program features the theme of Christmas in Santa’s Toy Shop. The concert is on Sunday\, December 10 at 3 p.m. in the Ironton High School auditorium. Admission is $15\, tickets are available at the performance\, and students and children of all ages are admitted free. The auditorium is handicap accessible. The Portsmouth Wind Symphony recently completed its 30th performing season dedicated to continuing to offer more challenging classical repertoire while broadening the orchestra’s appeal through more “pops” programming.
