The canoe float will take place on Saturday\, May 30th\, from 11 am – 3 pm at Burr Oak Dock Area #3. Lunch will be provided and canoes will be available\, but feel free to bring your own canoe or kayak. Rural Action staff and AmeriCorps members will guide participants in some local water quality education and history as we float on the lake and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. \nWe will be canoeing on open water and experience is recommended.
