DESCRIPTION:Want to get your brain and body moving and meet new friends? Scottish Country Dance is a lively social dance—think contra\, but with a bit more footwork and a lot of fun. \nStart at the very beginning. No partner or experience needed. If you can walk briskly\, you can dance! \nThis 9-week class meets Sundays at the Athens Community Center: June 7 – August 9 (no class July 26). Each week builds on the last\, so this is a full series rather than drop-in. (Missing one class is totally fine—you’ll be able to catch up.) \nCost: $45 for the full series \nRegister online: https://ohiorscds.org/athens/ —or sign up at the front desk when you arrive. \nWhat to wear: Comfortable clothes you can move in. Sneakers or ghillies work great. Dresses\, kilts\, shorts\, or yoga pants are all welcome. \nCome dance with us!
