History Happy Hour at the Southeast Ohio History Center

The Southeast Ohio History Center will sponsor musicians, Jack Wright and Vladimir Marchenkov for a performance – “Folk Songs Across National Boundaries: US and Russian Cross-Cultural Connections” on Friday, September 30 at 6pm at 24 west State Street. Entrance on North Congress.

Vladimir Marchenckov teaches aesthetics, philosophy of myth, and Russian philosophy at Ohio University. Jack Wright, a native of the Virginia coal fields, is retired from the Ohio University School of Film and has performed folk and cultural music for many non-profits in Appalachian Ohio.
