The community proposal for a new city council ward map can be found on the Nelsonville Redistricting website at lwvohio.org/nelsonvilleredistricting. Nelsonville citizens are being asked to review the map and submit any feedback using the Public Comment Portal found on the site.

The League of Women Voters of Athens County and League of Women Voters of Ohio will present the proposal to the Nelsonville Ad Hoc Committee at their next scheduled meeting on Thursday July 10, 2025, at 6pm. There will then be a presentation to the Nelsonville City Council planned for their following meeting on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 7pm. Residents are strongly encouraged to participate and provide testimony.
