Jennifer Allen’s focus is “to express sentiments of beauty and joy through porcelain tableware.”  This day-long demonstration will cover various methods used to create functional and refined porcelain vessels and surfaces. Participants will engage with Jen as she wheel-throws, alters forms, hand-builds and decorates her pots. Dialogue will also focus on personal intentions, philosophies and techniques.

If you are curious about working with porcelain, or how clay can be expertly manipulated to createfolds, seams, darts, pleats, tufts and ruffles, Jen’s demonstration will provide valuable insights and inspiration.
