DESCRIPTION:Black History Walking Tour of Uptown Athens\nTime: 10:00 a.m. | Location: Meet at Baker Center\, 4th Floor\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStart your Juneteenth by joining us for a walking tour of local Black history sites in Uptown Athens\, led by Dr. Tee Ford of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Preservation Society. \nRegister(opens in a new window) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJuneteenth Community Festival\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCelebrate Juneteenth on Saturday 6/18 and join the community celebration on College Green! There will be live music with DJ B-Funk\, local food and artisans\, and fun activities for kids and families. Create community art with Passion Works Studio\, check out a book at the ACPL Bookmobile\, and learn about local black history. Feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets\, water\, and sunscreen\, so you can hang out and enjoy the live music! \n  \n\n\n\n\nJuneteenth Festival Vendor and Tabling Request Forms\nCommunity organizations and vendors (food and other items) are invited to table and offer services during the Juneteenth Festival.
