The game is afoot!

The new Sherlock Holmes exhibit at COSI brings Victorian England to Columbus.

Avid Holmes fans seem to approve of the International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes, which has been displayed in only one other museum before COSI.

“We had high expectations and so far everything’s been exceeded,” said Sherry Rose-Bond, a member of the Baker Street Irregulars, a Holmes fan group.

It’s not just for avid fans like Rose-Bond.

Geoffrey M. Curley, who created the exhibit, said, “Even if you don’t know Sherlock Holmes, to have the richness to have the tools to go ahead and solve mysteries and solve questions and do it in a really fun and engaging way, this is a wonderful chance.”

Visitors solve a mystery written specifically for the exhibit, which includes a Sherlockian crime scene.

Josh Kessler, COSI project manager said visitors can learn as much about science as literature.

“The scientific methods that he uses are very, very real,” said Kessler of Holmes.

The exhibit will be open at COSI until Sept. 1, 2014.
