Arrest In Scioto County Murder Case

An arrest has been made in a Scioto County murder case.
Sheriff Marty Donini says Samuel Jordan, 45, of McDermott has been charged with murder and tampering with evidence.
Investigators say Jordan stabbed Kenneth Layne, 45, to death on Tuesday.
Layne, also of McDermott, died as a result of multiple stab wounds.
Detectives say there is no clear motive for the death.
They say the two did have an argument before Layne's death.
Investigators believe the stabbing took place inside Layne's home.
Ambulance workers discovered Layne's body when they came to the home to take Layne to a scheduled medical appointment.
Layne's body has been sent to Montgomery County Forensic Center for an autopsy.
