HS Football: First OHSAA rankings unveiled

The Ohio High School Athletic Association released its first football computer rankings Wednesday; the top eight teams in each region make the postseason.
Tri-Valley sits in fifth place in Division 2, Region 7 with a 3-1 record.
Four wins in four weeks has Sheridan just into the top eight; the Generals are ranked seventh in Division 3, Region 11.
Two local teams would make the postseason from Region 12 in Division 3.
The Athens Bulldogs and Jackson Ironmen rank 3rd and 7th respectively in the region, both are undefeated.
Meigs, the biggest surprise in the TVC-Ohio, is 3-1 and is ranked eighth in Division 4.
Finally, the sixth team to crack the coveted top 8 is Nelsonville-York who is a perfect 4-0 this season.
