Deputies Investigate McDonald’s Robbery In South Point

Authorities in Lawrence County are investigating the armed robbery of a McDonald's in South Point this morning.
Investigators say two men wearing face masks and dark, hooded sweatshirts came into the restaurant through a rear service entrance.
They say the two showed a black handgun to the employees and demanded money.
"The suspects entered the restaurant just before it opened for business, there were no customers inside at the time and no one was injured," says Sheriff Jeff Lawless.
