The Plains Man Found With 70 Balloons Of Heroin In Body Cavity

The Athens County Sheriff says a man from The Plains who is now housed in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail had 70 balloons of heroin hidden in a body cavity.
Pat Kelly says the Sheriff's Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Ronald Young, 54, around 1 p.m.
Kelly says the team intercepted a 100 balloon heroin shipment on U.S. 33 in Nelsonville.
Then, he says, they interviewed Young and discovered an additional 70 balloons were lodged in Young's rectal area.
Kelly says the drugs came from Columbus and Columbus Police stopped the provider of the heroin after a transaction between Young and the Columbus dealers.
