The state fire marshal's office has completed the on-scene part of its investigation into a fire that destroyed an insulation factory in eastern Ohio.

Investigators have narrowed down the starting point of the fire at Janesville Acoustics in Newcomerstown.

But they are not releasing any specifics until the full investigation is completed.

No injuries were reported in the blaze that started Sunday. It was still smoldering late Monday, preventing investigators from getting to all parts of the site until Tuesday.

The state fire marshal's office says lab analyses of findings from the scene typically take seven to 10 days to complete.

Janesville Acoustics makes insulation for automobiles. The plant employed nearly 100 people.
