Nearly a dozen groups will take the stage this weekend during the 27th annual Poston Lake Bluegrass Festival, June 15 and 16 in Guysville, Ohio.

One of the Midwest's most popular bluegrass events, the festival has made a name for itself with its top-notch talent, beautiful location and family-friendly atmosphere.

This year's fest is being presented by the Point Pleasant, W.Va., group Idletymes, who will act as host band on both Friday and Saturday evenings.

Other acts on the bill include critically acclaimed local favorites The Hart Brothers, the award-winning Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out and Karl Shifllett's self-described "bona fide hillbilly music extravaganza."

The music starts at noon both days, emceed by D28+5 host Pete Hart on Friday and Butch Sheppard of Parkersburg's Sheppard Brothers on Saturday.
