Newport Man Charged With Rape Of Teenage Girl

A Newport man faces rape charges after allegedly having sex with a teenage girl he met at a party.
Investigators said-old Shane Dye, 24, met the 15-year-old girl at a party in July 2011.
According to investigators after drinking moonshine at the party, the victim reportedly blacked out.
The victim told investigators Dye told her they had sex after she woke up on a couch in a home in Marietta.
The teenager later gave birth to a child.
DNA test results indicate that Dye is the father.
Dye is currently being held in Washington County Jail.
Investigators believe Dye may have sex with other underage girls.
