Grooms Wins Director Of Football Operations of the Year

Jason Grooms has been named FootballScoops Director of Football Operations of the Year.
FootballScoops has named Ohio's Jason Grooms a finalist for their Director of Football Operations of the Year award.
Groomas has been Ohio's Director of Football Operations for the past nine seasons. As Director of Operations, Grooms handles all travel arrangements, the team's Unity Council, managing the budget, NFL Scout visits, Pro Day and community outreach programs. This past year he oversaw the instillation of Peden's new stadium turf and the building of Ohio's new trophy case.
FootballScoops other two finalists are Duke's Tony Sales and Oregon State's Dan Van de Riet. Last year's winner was Stanford's Matt Doyle.
Grooms has a B.A. and M.A. from Ohio University. He is a member of the American Football Coaches Association and sits on the National Committe representing the Mid-American Conference for the AFCA for Football Operations.
