OU’s Technology Depot and Bobcat Essentials Merging Into One Retail Store

Whether it's ID cards, laptops, or Bobcat gear, students will soon have a one-stop shop for all of their needs. The Technology Depot and Bobcat Essentials are merging into one retail store on the first floor of the Baker Student Center.
Renovations are scheduled to begin at the end of spring semester.They are expected to be completed by early summer prior to Bobcat Student Orientation.
While the final blueprints are not set, the space on the first floor of the Baker Student Center will be extended into the lobby area. On the 4th floor, the Allen Student Help Center will take over the space Bobcat Essentials currently occupies. It's a move that is designed to benefit students.
The new name for the combined retail store has yet to be decided. A contest was held this past week for students and faculty to submit their most creative suggestions.
