Ohio University Parents’ Weekend Kicks Off Friday

After the first, five, long weeks of the semester, students and their parents will finally be reunited.
Ohio University Parents' Weekend kicks off Friday. The campus is gering up for hundreds of parents that will be visiting their children on campus.
With activities ranging from zip lining adventures, a comedy show, and a mystery dinner, there are many activities that will keep families busy. Families are also planning on attending the football game against Eastern Illinois.
Local businesses are also preparing for what will be a busier than normal crowd of people.
"This is one of my busiest weekends, during the daytime on Saturday and Sunday. We get absolutely killed. We'll probably have over a 45 minute long waiting list, Saturday and Sunday during the day" said Jay Shapiro, co-owner of Union Street Diner.
