Ohio Gov. Kasich To Return To New Hampshire, South Carolina< < Back to
Ohio Gov. John Kasich plans to return to the first-in-the-nation presidential primary state of New Hampshire next month.
The two-term governor visited the state last week in a trip designed to assess his political strength as he considers a 2016 Republican presidential bid.
Kasich plans to attend the First in the Nation Republican Leadership Summit in New Hampshire on April 18 after visiting South Carolina, another early primary state.
The Ohio Republican Party, which is covering Kasich’s travel costs, announced details of the stops on Monday.
In February, Kasich traveled to South Carolina to call for a constitutional convention to pass a federal balanced budget amendment. He will return to speak to the Upstate Chamber on April 17 and to the Greenville County Republican Convention on April 18.
