Task Force Investigating Farmers Market Locations

A task force looking at options for relocating the Athens Farmers Market is investigating three possible locations.
The Athens Foundation task force that is helping the market find a new location has recently issued an update on its work, saying that a subgroup reviewed multiple sites and that the task force has reached consensus on the best three — which it has not publicly identified.
Also, the task force said that a two-year lease that Athens Farmers Market has on its current location in the parking lot of the Market on State should allow time for the task force to continue its work.
